Kanboard

Kanboard is running at kanboard.thinkin-rocks.local is our Kanban board for storing and managing tasks.

The purpose of kanboard is 2-fold:

1. Facilitate collaboration via communication. It is really easy to manage yourself. You have perfect context and understanding, all the information and all the deadlines in your head. When you work as a small team it could still be fine. When coordinating a lot of people the going gets tough.

2. Document ideas and backlogs. Spurious ideas are something new, but they die if not written down. A backlog is a fantastic place to put something when it is yet to be executed.

Tasks can be colored to indicate things. By default they are Yellow, but other colorings are possible and not regulated:

• Red for high priority.

• Blue for regular tasks, like monthly and daily maintenance.

• Grey for raw ideas.

The list of tasks is to be flushed every Wednesday or on another scheduled meeting day: old tasks in the “Done” are closed (NOT removed).
